The Rheumatology Unit at the Institute of Child Health is part of the Centre of Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology. Members of the centre aim to provide quality care in the diagnosis, management and understanding of rheumatic diseases that occur in childhood and adolescence. Research undertaken by the centre concentrates on furthering our understanding of the pathogenesis of these diseases and the development of new therapeutic interventions.
