Department of Radiology

The Department of Radiology at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services for children from newborns to 16 years of age. We perform more than 47,000 examinations per year. Our diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments include general fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computerised tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, general and interventional radiology.

The department is equipped with the latest technology designed specifically for our paediatric patients and we have close research links with the Institute of Child Health as well as links with industry, so that we are up to date with the latest research and technical advancements.
